ABOUT TFP
From one pitch in Afijio to a movement changing Nigeria.

IT STARTED WITH A QUESTION NOBODY WAS ASKING
What happens to a teenager in Nigeria who loves football but has no structure around them? They play on roads. They train on rubble. They watch their talent go nowhere, not because they aren't good enough, but because nobody built a proper platform for them.
The Afijio Teens Football League launched as TFP's very first community project. Six teams. One pitch. And results that nobody expected. What happened in Afijio was not a coincidence, it was a model. And models are meant to be replicated.

Everything we do is guided by these core principles
Excellence
We don't celebrate showing up. We celebrate showing up and giving everything because we know what these teenagers are capable of.
Teamwork
The most talented player on the pitch still cannot win alone. What you learn about teamwork here follows you for the rest of your life.
Education
A teenager who plays football but drops out of school is not a success story. At TFP, football and education are partners, not enemies.
Community
TFP is not a brand that descends on communities. It grows from within them. Every league, every team, every coach is connected to the community it serves.
THE TFP JOURNEY
Every player follows a proven pathway to excellence
Grassroots
Players join TFP at the foundation level, learning the basics of the game in a fun, supportive environment.
Training
Structured coaching sessions with certified coaches build technical skills, fitness, and tactical awareness.
Matches
Players compete in organised league fixtures, gaining real match experience and exposure.
Exposure
Top performers get opportunities for trials, scouting, and representation at regional and national level.
FOOTBALL AND EDUCATION, HAND IN HAND
At TFP, we understand that football alone cannot define a young person's future. That's why we work with schools and parents to ensure every player maintains their academic performance while pursuing their football dreams.
- Flexible training schedules around school hours
- Academic performance monitoring for all players
- Partnerships with local schools in Oyo State
